Passing these exams is what is required to earn your Change Management Practitioner certification. Certifications & Solutions
Candidates who complete all three exams are awarded the globally recognised CP3P credential which is endorsed by the Consultative Committee. Who is the audience for the Certification Program and what background is needed? Anyone can apply to take the exams leading to gaining the CP3P credential, however in order to be eligible to take the Preparation and Execution exams, you must have already passed the Foundation exam. Some previous knowledge or experience in the topics covered in the PPP Guide, related to PPPs in general will be advantageous, but lack of experience should not prevent anyone from taking part in the Certification Program. It enables candidates at all levels from the Public and Private sectors to participate effectively in PPP teams at whichever phase of the Certification Program they are involved.

Organizational Change Management: APMG CM™ Practitioner Certification
There is no need to get recertified every time the PPP Guide is updated. How is the PPP Guide related to the certification? Demonstrated competence and understanding of the PPP Guide is the basis for the certification. Specifically, the exams will test participants' understanding of the principles and methods used in PPPs and the ability to analyse situations. This PPP Guide compiles good PPP practices from a wide variety of regions and sectors and provides the basis for courses and examinations. This publication has undergone a robust peer review process. This is a compulsory module and exam in order to proceed to next stages. The Preparation exam covers chapter 2 to chapter 5; and The Execution exam covers chapter 5 to chapter 8.
About the APMG PPP Certification Program
How long will the course take? The CP3P Foundation training course will typically be delivered over two days, and this should include time to sit the exam. The Preparation and Execution exams will each be typically delivered over five days and this should include time to sit each exam. Please ensure that you check these details with the training provider before booking. Can I self-study? Yes, you can self-study for the Foundation, Preparation and Execution exams.
Booking AgilePM Foundation (2014)
The PPP Certification Guide is available as a free download, and we also have a free online training course which together with the PPP Guide can be used to self-study in preparation for the Foundation exam. There is no free online training course for the Preparation and Execution exam levels. How can I get access to training centers? How will I be tested? The Foundation exam is a simple multiple choice exam with 50 questions which must be completed in 40 minutes. The Preparation exam is a complex multiple choice exam with 4 questions, each worth 20 marks, which must be completed in 2.

The Execution exam is a complex multiple choice exam with 4 questions, each worth 20 marks, which must be completed in 2. Will exams be available in languages other than English? Translations of the exam will be considered in line with demand. The Preparation exam is available in English and Chinese. The Execution exam is available in English and Chinese. All candidates who pass the CP3P Foundation exam will be awarded with a certificate and digital badge recognizing this achievement. APMG Agile Project Management – Foundation & Practitioner including Accredited Examination
Please note that candidates are able to opt-out of having their name published, or can request to have their name added to the list at any time. Candidates who pass the Foundation exam are eligible to take both the Preparation and Execution exams. If I take the Foundation exam and fail, what happens next? Can I take it again? If you, unfortunately, do not pass the CP3P Foundation exam on your first attempt you are permitted to take it again at any time; there is no restriction on how soon you can re-take the exam or the number of times you attempt the exam.

The full exam fee will be payable each time. If you take the exam via an ATO or affiliate, as part of an accredited training course, the cost of the exam should be included in the price of the course. Please ensure that you check this with the training provider before booking your course. Will they all or any of them? All organisations, both existing APMG ATOs and new organisations seeking accreditation for this program, are required to demonstrate they meet the eligibility requirements and then must undergo an assessment process. Once accredited, these organisations will be permitted to deliver the CP3P training courses and certification exams. How can I buy a discounted exam voucher? Exam vouchers can be purchased in bulk by organizations at a significant discount such as government departments and PPP units, and these vouchers can then be redeemed when booking an online exam or via a training provider.

Please contact your PPP unit or head of department directly with regards to purchasing discounted vouchers. Will I receive a certificate for passing the exam? Yes, candidates will automatically be sent an electronic certificate within two business days of receiving formal confirmation of their exam result. If you have not received your certificate within this timeframe please contact our Customer Interaction Team - servicedesk apmg-international. It is also very easy to share them with employers and other third parties. APMG will send you a link to your registered email address. This link will take you to your Candidate Portal where you will find your electronic certificate s. You can always access all your electronic certificates using the APMG candidate portal. Sometimes, if you have taken your examination s via a, Accredited Training Organisation ATO , certificates will be issued based on the preferences that the ATO selected when booking the exam.

The ATO can select either an electronic certificate or that both paper and electronic certificates are provided to the candidate. Virtual Proctor: Taking Certification Tests Online Through APMG
Where candidates are sitting an examination in a language which is neither their main language nor their mother tongue, additional time can be permitted. For the Foundation exam, an additional 10 minutes can be added to the exam time. For the Preparation and Execution exams, and additional 40 minutes can be added to the exam time. If you are sitting the exam with an ATO, as part of an accredited training course, you will need to discuss your additional time requirements with them directly. If you have self-studied for the exam and have booked to sit the exam online with APMG, additional time can be requested at the time of making your booking. You can check whether additional time has been added via the Candidate Portal. What letters can I use after my name to show that I have passed the exam?
APMG Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner - AgilePM®
Although similar there are differences. If the training organisation is proctoring then the exam is booked for the time and date agreed with the client. The candidates need to register individually. The candidates need to log into the invigilation platform being used, such as Teams, Go To Meeting, Zoom etc as advised by the training organisation. This can be on the same device or a different device eg mobile phone to the one on which the exam will be taken. Prior to the start of the exam the training organisation checks photo identification. Candidates take the exam whilst the training organisation watches and ensures exam rules apply.

At the finish time the software automatically stops allowing further answers to be added. A provisional score is given at the end of the exam, which requires validation from APMG, including confirmation exam rules have not been breached. In most respects the system is very similar to that of APMG. A difference is that it needs to have two cameras, one looking from the front and one from behind. The system also blocks other use of the device so no other references or sites can be viewed whilst doing the exam. The system works best with a recent version of google chrome as the browser.
Taking a Self-Study Exam
You need to book the exam at least 10 working days in advance of the date of the exam and advise of the date and time you wish to book the exam. For the PMQ and report element of PPQ, the candidate types written answers and so should be able to type sufficiently well to complete in the time available. Whichever Exam Institute the exam is provided by the common aspects which were covered in the last blog should still be in place. The main thing is to be prepared, know the rules — such as whether you are allowed to go to the bathroom and how long , and test the system in advance.
